1. Open the Start Menu and select “Control Panel” from the right column.
2. Inside the Control Panel select “Add or Remove Programs”.
3. When the list of programs finishes loading scroll down and click on PatternFile.
4. Click on the “Remove” button next to PatternFile. Don’t worry, your pattern collection is stored elsewhere on your computer and will remain safe during this uninstall operation.
5. A window will popup showing the progress of the Uninstall.
6. When the uninstall is complete goto www.pattern-file.com/download or www.pattern-file.com/freetrial to download the latest version of PatternFile. Click on the text that says “Install Now’.
7. When the confirmation dialog box appears select “Install” and follow any additional directions on screen.
8. Enjoy! All of your patterns will be in the system and ready to go. Future updates to PatternFile will use an automatic update engine so you will not have to repeat this process for future revisions.
